I am standing here

In the storm

Feeling hurt

Disappointed

Learning how to continue forward

On a different path

I wonder

Where I went wrong

What I could have done different

Why do I have to go through this struggle

It makes me feel small

Insignificant, disrespected

Throughout the journey

I was kind and respectful

I came to the table with an open heart

And now here I stand deep in the storm
