Getting the Body Out of Distress

Qigong & Yoga Kryia for Health and Wellbeing
6-week series
Thursday’s @ 6:45-8 pm EST
Aug 20 - Sept 24

The time we are living in has put our bodies under stress. Being under stress for long periods of times taxes the nervous system, the liver, as well as the rest of the body. This is not a healthy way to function.

Like many people are you feeling tired and drained? Have you put yourself at the bottom of your priority list? You don’t have to keep on moving forward this way. Now is the time to take carve out a bit of self-care for yourself.

Tara and Jennifer invite you to sink into a 6-week practice dedicated to getting the body out of distress. The Qigong and Kriya movements will calm your nerves, relax your body, and help you regain clarity in your physical and mental capacities. Together we will move and release.

This practice is available to all levels and no experience in Qigong or Yoga is needed. Jennifer will be showing the positions from the floor as Tara demonstrates in a chair.

What you need:

  • Small space to move

  • Chair to sit on if you prefer

  • Journal to take notes on your wellbeing so you can witness your progress through class.

Investment:

  • $15 drop-in fee

About Tara & Jennifer

Tara and Jennifer met serendipitously about a year ago and began teaching together in September at Tara’s studio in Oakland NJ. When the pandemic back in March they both felt that feeling of isolation and were craving community. They developed different classes and found a way to bring that feeling of being in the studio together online. They have continued offering weekly classes and are looking forward to the opportunity to go in deeper with the Qigong & Yoga Kryia 6-week series.
